The Spelling Bee contest - 2022

The Spelling Bee contest is a fun and competitive way to assess and improve the spelling and pronunciation skills of the students of the primary years. Conducted on the 4th of February, the online contest saw enthusiastic participants rack their brains to spell the words correctly.

An assortment of words of varying difficulty levels was chosen to suit the diverse students. Careful enunciation made it easier for the students to listen and write the words down.

The outcome of such a Spell Bee contest is children gaining competence over the vocabulary, both the written and spoken form, and allowing them to excel in reading and writing. It offers the children a familiarity with the language and appreciate its origin and evolution.

The excited students enjoyed their time working on the Spell Bee and all participants received their certificates.
