Assembly: Grade 7C, 2023
The students of Grade 7C had an excellent opportunity to present their school assembly with the theme "Greek Mythology", a topic that fascinates children as well as adults. The primary purpose of this assembly is to retell classic myths in a fun and engaging way. The students displayed their team-work, camaraderie, and resourcefulness in preparing for and presenting their program.
The show starts with a bunch of school students visiting Museum of Greek Mythology along with their teacher. In the museum they accidentally break a veil which opens a portal and they are transported to Olympus, Abode of the Gods. They meet with Aries, God of war from where they go to different Gods requesting each of them to help them go home. Finally, all the Gods vote in favour of sending them home and they reach back home with an unforgettable experience of a lifetime.
The news anchors shared updates of the happenings around us with International News, National News, Sports News and Weather Report. This was followed by a quiz that engaged the audience. As always, the quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from the audience.
A stupendous effort by the children in collaborating and rendering the dance and mellifluous music through their band was the highlight of the show.
The assembly was wrapped up with the vote of thanks. Students conveyed their gratitude to the principal, teachers and non-teaching staff for their support and encouragement. The assembly left the audience with an enthralling experience of Time travel and meeting up the Greek Gods.
