Assembly: Grade 7D, 2023

The young learners of Grade 7 D conducted their Assembly on ‘Gen Z vs Millennials’ on November 6th 2023 with great enthusiasm. Colourful slides were put up as stage backdrop with peppy music to welcome the audience. Children hosted the programme with confidence. The assembly was aimed at instilling the stark difference between laidback simple millennial lifestyle and fast paced Gen Z lifestyle. Impact of the generation gap was the highlight of the assembly.

Students put up a diverse Assembly which included skit, speech, quiz, dance, music and news that were well presented. They performed their roles with assurance and composure.

The skit was humorous with a comedy tiff performed by Rithvik and Gayatri as Gen Z and millennial teens. It was well received by the audience and they cheered when they saw their performance on stage.

A brief and informative news report followed apprising the young audience on the happenings around India, the world, in sports, in NPSI and in weather. The quiz was enthralling and scintillating with the host questioning the audience with confidence and poise. It gave insights into the contribution of various celebrities and eminent characters.

The speech on ‘Our Vision’ was delivered by Thendral, who gave valuable insights into the school’s contribution towards providing nurturing and conducive environment for the children’s growth was intriguing.

The medley sung melodiously by the students with myriad instruments added to the joy. The audience enjoyed singing along and tapping to the music. Vote of thanks was delivered by Vihaan, who gracefully thanked all those who helped them.

It was heartening to observe the Grade 7 D conducting themselves with confidence and ease on the stage.
