Assembly Grade 6A 2017
The performance of the assembly in front of an audience excites and motivates the children to put their best foot forward. On the bright and sunny morning of 29th June, the students of Grade 6A were all set to perform their assembly.
The day began with the comperes highlighting the importance of the month of June. The news and events of the week, the importance of the World Milk day and the World Oceans’ day were highlighted. The musical performance showcased the need to be selfless – in saving the environment and donating blood. The highlight of the show was the skit about a young girl learning about blood grouping, blood donation and how the blood donors’ day was instituted. The fusion dance and the riddles entertained the audience. The show culminated with our faculty Ms. Sumathy reinforcing the need to be selfless and emphasising the need for blood donation. The entire show was a success even as the children enjoyed choreographing the dance, writing the script and directing the play themselves.
