Acupuncture Session by Dr C Lakshmi
NPSI organised a virtual celebration of Janmashtami across grades 1 to 8 with immense fervour. The festive mood was created for the early primary years by showing the birth of Lord Krishna through a beautiful video.
This was followed by Crafts Activity for all the children across Grade 1-8. The children were asked to create crowns, flutes and cradles—all symbols of Janmashtami and its significance.
Grade 1 & 2 created a crown using a glittering sheet of rectangular cardboard. The crown was aesthetically adorned with blue and red stones. Grades 3, 4 and 5 created a peacock feather and flute out of newspapers and coloured sheets. Grade 6 and 7 tastefully created an ornamental cradle best suited to represent the birth of little Krishna on this auspicious day.
The celebration came to an end with a mellifluous flute recital bestowing Janmashtami wishes of Lord Krishna on one and all.
