The children of today will make the India of tomorrow - Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru

Grade 7B chose to present their class assembly on the topic ‘Children’s Day’ and despite their busy schedule, the students found time to conceptualise, practice and present the assembly in their unique style.
After an invocation, the MCs took over to introduce the topic. The newsreader read the national, international and sports news and the weather forecast. A brief thought was shared with the audience.
A movie review on the recently released movie ‘The Small Foot’ was shared which piqued the curiosity of those who haven’t watched the movie yet.
Paying tribute to Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, whose birthday is celebrated as Children’s Day, the audience was transported to the time of India’s Independence and the famous speech given by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, on the eve of India’s independence was orated.
Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru had his own vision of India and its youth taking the country to greater heights. In a bid to compare his vision and reality, the students presented the mixed ideology of modern youth through a mime and it was left to the audience to choose the ideology they prefer to profess to take India to greater heights of success.
Age is no bar to success. With this adage in mind, a collection of high achievers and child prodigies were shared with the audience to motivate them.
To convey the message of Children’s Day, two students spoke in Tamil and English expressing their opinions in a lucid and thought provoking manner. The perfect usage of vocabulary and voice dynamics caused quite a stir among the audience.
Adding energy and zeal to the audience, a group of students took to the stage to showcase an electrifying dance performance.
The assembly came to an end with a quiz in which the audience participated with full enthusiasm. The vote of thanks was proposed to extend gratitude to all those who made this event a grand success.
As it is said, Put your heart, mind, and soul into even your smallest acts. This is the secret of success. The rigourous practise, coordination and team spirit made this assembly a grand success.
