Career Talk by Ms. Ranjani Padmanabhan

Our school had the privilege of hosting Ms. Ranjani Padmanabhan, Technology Group Leader for Electric Vehicles at Royal Enfield, Chennai, for an expert talk with students of Grades 8 to 10. With nearly 19 years of experience, she shared valuable insights and emphasised the importance of a strong foundation in science, particularly physics, for understanding automobiles and modern technology.

She highlighted that successful careers begin during school years, driven by curiosity, interest, and dedication. Drawing from her experience in Electrified Powertrain Controls, Combustion Sciences, and Vehicle Development, she explained the working of modern, automatic, and electric vehicles in a simple and engaging manner.

Ms. Ranjani also spoke about the growing opportunities in the automotive and electric vehicle sector, encouraging students to focus on practical learning, problem-solving, and continuous curiosity.

The session ended with an interactive Q&A, where she addressed questions on car technology and careers, leaving students inspired to explore science and technology with confidence.
