Founder's Day, 2021-2022

The first event of every academic year is Founder’s Day. We celebrate and pay tribute to our founder Dr KP Gopalkrishna for his vision. We also celebrate our Dean Santhamma Gopalkrishna, Vice Chairperson Dr Bindu Hari, CEO Mr Hari Krishnan, Ms Sudha Balan and Administrator Ms Lalitha Das for their constant support and encouragement.

A grand virtual celebration was hosted by the senior students. A brief look into the NPS history was followed by the welcome address by a Grade 12 student. Our principal shared the relevance of this day and the legacy we all carry forward. A speech on the significance of this day was shared by a student of Grade 11. Former school prefect Aditya H Iyer shared his thoughts on his school days, his journey and his respect for the school. A fun quiz hosted by alumni Rakshan Purush and Prusha Bhat tested students’ knowledge of the school.

This was followed by a video of curated memories from the past 7 years. From inauguration to science fair Akriti, art exhibition Art Infinity and Graduation Day, several videos and images that offered a birds’ eye view of all the celebrations, assemblies and events that took place in school. We are sure our students, staff and parents were filled with nostalgia watching this video.

The programme ended with the Vote of Thanks delivered by a student of Grade 12.
