Grade 12 Graduation Day, 2026

The Graduation Ceremony of Grade 12 for the academic year 2025–2026 was conducted with great solemnity and pride at NPS International, Chennai. The event marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the graduating students and was attended by the school leadership, parents, teachers, and students.

The programme commenced with a cordial welcome, followed by a visual presentation that nostalgically captured the students’ memorable years at school. The arrival of the dignitaries signalled the formal commencement of the ceremony.

The graduating students then made their ceremonial entry to the traditional strains of “Pomp and Circumstance”, setting a dignified tone for the event. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Founder Chairman, Vice Chairperson, Senior Administrator, Head of TISB Training, and Associate Principals, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the pursuit of knowledge. A soulful invocation rendered by students created an atmosphere of serenity and reverence.

The Welcome Address was delivered by Ms. Radhika Madhavan, Associate Principal, NPSI. The Chief Guest, Mr. Kaviraj Nair, then delivered the Convocation Address, urging the graduands to uphold excellence, integrity, and resilience as they step into the next phase of their lives. This was followed by addresses from the Vice Chairperson, Dr. Bindu Hari and Founder Chairman, Dr. K. P. Gopalkrishna, who inspired the students with their insights and guidance.

Graduation mementos were presented to the students in phases by the dignitaries. Each student was introduced with a brief profile highlighting academic achievements, co-curricular pursuits, and future aspirations. Special awards were conferred on outstanding students, including the Best Outgoing Student Award and recognition for 100% Attendance.

The formal declaration of the students as graduands was made by Ms. Ranjani Ayyar, Associate Principal, NPSI, following which the School Pledge was led by the School Prefect. Student reminiscences, a vibrant dance performance, and parent perspectives added warmth and emotional depth to the celebration.

A symbolic candle-lighting ceremony and the rendition of the School Song reaffirmed the values, ethos, and traditions of NPS International. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem.

In his address, the Founder Chairman emphasised the enduring importance of values, discipline, and lifelong learning. Vice Chairperson, Dr. Bindu Hari, spoke on holistic development, leadership, and student wellbeing, while Ms. Ranjani Ayyar shared her reflections on perseverance, responsibility, and navigating the complexities of the modern world.

The ceremony concluded on a joyful note with dinner. The Graduation Day celebration stood as a fitting tribute to the accomplishments of the graduating class of 2025–2026 and marked the beginning of a new chapter in their academic and personal journeys.
