Graduation Ceremony 2018 -2019

NPS International Chennai celebrated its first graduation ceremony on Friday, January 25th 2019 at its Perumbakkam campus. In attendance were the Chief Guest Mr. J. Krishnan, Managing Director and CEO of UniMity Solutions, and the Guest of Honour Mrs. Shantha Chandran, Principal of National Public School Indiranagar (Bangalore). The proceedings began at 6:30 PM and concluded at 7:40 PM, followed by dinner.

The Principal of NPSI Chennai, Mrs. Sudha Balan, presented the welcome address, inviting the dignitaries and parents and saying a few words about the graduating class and their unique position in the history of the school. The Chief Guest’s address included a number of powerful messages including “don’t set a timeline for your future” and “never compare yourself to others”.

The students were presented mementos which included the school pledge and photos of their years with the school. After memorial speeches by a few students and parents, the students were officially declared graduands. This was followed by the school pledge, a lamp ceremony and the school song performed by the graduands. The evening concluded with a vote of thanks followed by dinner.
