Independence Day, 2021

August 15,2021 marks India’s 75th year of Independence. The celebrations in our school began on Friday. Our youngest learners were treated to exciting videos and colourful pictures about the country and enjoyed colouring the National Flag and tricolour butterflies while the students of Grades 1 to 3 crafted decoratives based on the Tricolour.

The Sunday morning saw the students and faculty congregating online to cherish and honour the day. The online event began with an invocation song followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by our Principal, Ms. Sudha Balan. The inspiring speeches delivered in various languages – English, Tamil, Hindi and Sanskrit and the rendering of a few popular soul-stirring patriotic songs added to the patriotic fervour. The event culminated with a video collage of the young and vibrant India that we know and are proud of.
