Plunge, 2021

NPSI Chennai threw open its virtual gates to 11 schools and over 160 students on 28 and 29 August 2021 for Plunge 2021. The two days saw students compete across 10 different events that tested their creativity, intelligence and ability to think on the spot. We had events across cyber, commerce, math, literary and science.

The event began with an opening ceremony. A virtual lamp was lit by our student team that led the fest followed by a melodious invocation song in Marathi. The principal Ms Sudha Balan shared poignant words on competitive spirit and value of participation. A splendid presentation of artwork by our art faculty revealing all the events was released. We then had an instrumental and a western vocal performance by our students. The opening ceremony ended with the School Prefect welcoming all the students and wishing them the very best.

Over the two days, students of various school from Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chennai and Singapore had some unique experiences as they competed with each other.

Our senior students hosted all the events, playing different roles. From MCs to judges, organisers and volunteers, they took on their roles with much gusto and ensured that the participants had a smooth experience.

The results were announced in the prize distribution on 29 August 2021. Even as the results were declared, participants to happy to share their positive experiences from Plunge 2021. We congratulate all our senior students in putting together this mega event in a seamless manner.
