Vistaara 2.0 – Learning Visibility Event
Vistaara 2.0 was a thoughtfully curated learning visibility event that showcased the academic journey of students from Grades 9 and 11. Designed to give parents a deeper insight into classroom learning, the event highlighted not just outcomes, but the process, creativity, and thinking behind each project.
Grade 9 presented a unique silent learning visibility experience, where student projects were displayed with thoughtfully designed audio-visual support. Parents explored the exhibits at their own pace, using earphones to engage with recorded explanations, allowing for an immersive and self-guided understanding of the concepts.
In contrast, Grade 11 students actively presented their projects, offering detailed explanations and engaging in meaningful discussions with parents. Their displays reflected strong conceptual understanding, research, collaboration, and hands-on learning across subjects.
The student projects were very well received by parents, many of whom appreciated the accompanying audio and video presentations for adding depth and clarity to the displays. Interactive projects were especially popular. In Computer Applications, several computer games and activities enabled parents to actively participate by following written instructions.
Parents also appreciated the detailed and intricate displays in the Science and Humanities sections. Highlights included the engaging “Forensic Detective” activity, where parents identified a culprit by matching fingerprints, and the Refraction display, which featured convex and concave lenses that could be used to observe text in different ways.
Grade 11 students showcased projects and models in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Humanities, demonstrating their understanding through creative presentations, research, hands-on activities, and collaborative work.
A special highlight of the event was the musical exhibit titled “Interdisciplinary Math Music Symphony.” Through a live musical performance, students beautifully illustrated the connection between mathematical patterns and musical rhythm, harmony, and structure, bringing interdisciplinary learning to life.
Overall, Vistaara 2.0 provided parents with a comprehensive understanding of the school’s academic framework, while also offering a platform to witness students’ creativity, analytical thinking, and interdisciplinary approach to learning through thoughtfully curated displays and performances.
