Grade 1C Assembly
The students of Grade 1C conducted a wonderful and engaging class assembly on 06th March 2026 in the school auditorium. The event was graced by our respected Principal Ma’am, teachers, and the parents who were specially invited for the occasion. The theme of the assembly was “Teamwork – Together We Can,” highlighting the importance of cooperation, unity, and supporting one another.
The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Bhuvana Ma’am, who warmly greeted the gathering and introduced the theme with enthusiasm. The assembly began with the Masters of Ceremony welcoming the audience and explaining how teamwork turns individual efforts into great achievements.
The program started with a creative presentation where students introduced the word TEAMWORK, explaining each letter through meaningful words such as Togetherness, Encouragement, Achievement, Motivation, Willingness, Organisation, Respect, and Kindness. This segment beautifully explained how these qualities help people work successfully as a team.
The assembly continued with a thoughtful Thought for the Day, reminding everyone that success is achieved when people work together and support one another.
The highlight of the assembly was a short and meaningful skit titled “Together We Can.” The skit portrayed a group of students working on a poster for the school assembly. One student initially refused to cooperate and wanted to complete the task alone, which resulted in a messy outcome. With the guidance of their teacher and the support of classmates, the student realised the importance of teamwork and joined the group. Together they completed a colourful and beautiful poster, conveying the powerful message that “Alone we can do very little, but together we can achieve so much.”
Following the skit, the students presented the Teamwork News segment, where they shared interesting examples of teamwork from around the world. They spoke about how great wonders are built through the efforts of many people, how birds like geese fly together in formation, and how success in sports depends on the entire team.
Adding more excitement to the program, the students performed a lively Teamwork Dance, beautifully showing coordination, rhythm, and unity through their energetic movements.
An interactive Teamwork Challenge Quiz was then conducted, where different classes participated enthusiastically by answering questions related to cooperation and teamwork.
The assembly continued with a melodious musical performance by the students, celebrating friendship, unity, and harmony.
The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Miss Abirami, who expressed gratitude to the Principal Ma’am for her constant encouragement, the teachers for their guidance, the support staff for their assistance, and the parents for their presence and encouragement.
The assembly was a grand success. It not only entertained the audience but also conveyed the valuable message that when we support each other and work together, we can achieve wonderful things.
