Grade 3B Assembly
Compassion and Empathy
The students of Grade 3B conducted their assembly on the theme “Compassion and Empathy .” The assembly aimed to highlight the importance of Kindness, understanding others’ feelings, and spreading happiness through small, thoughtful actions.
The programme began with a warm Introduction, where students explained the meaning of compassion and empathy. This was followed by the Thought for the Day: “A little act of kindness can fill a big space in someone’s heart.”
In the News Segment, students shared positive stories of kindness from children, schools, and even animals, reminding everyone that small acts can create big changes. The Fact-sharing session helped students understand the value of empathy in making friends and building peace.
The assembly also featured a short Story titled “The Lost Puppy”, which showed how sharing and caring can transform sadness into happiness. A lively Song – “Kindness” was presented by the students, filling the atmosphere with cheer.
Adding to the excitement, students shared Fun Facts about kindness, such as how smiling spreads happiness and even dolphins show empathy. This was followed by an energetic Dance Performance – Thank You, spreading joy and enthusiasm.
The interactive Quiz Round kept the audience engaged, as students eagerly answered questions on compassion and empathy.
The assembly concluded with the message that even the smallest acts—like a smile, a kind word, or helping hand—can touch hearts deeply. Students collectively promised to practice empathy and kindness in their daily lives, saying aloud: “Big hearts! Small acts! We understand you!”
Overall, the assembly was engaging, meaningful, and left the audience inspired to make kindness and empathy part of their everyday actions.
