Assembly: Grade 4 B, September 2023
Topic: KishnaJayanthi celebration across India
Our students, with great enthusiasm, presented the class assembly on Lord Krishna. The performances included dances, facts on how Krishna Jayanthi is celebrated across Inida, and bhajans that depicted various phases of Krishna's life, from his childhood antics to his role as a divine guide.
One of the highlights of the celebration was a song and a dance portraying the Dahi Handi event, symbolizing Krishna's love for butter and his mischievous nature as a child. There was also a fun Quiz conducted to facilitate interactive participation.
The celebration also included a prayer session where students and teachers collectively chanted mantras and sang devotional songs in praise of Lord Krishna. This moment of reflection allowed us to connect with the spiritual significance of the day.
The entire atmosphere was filled with a sense of devotion and festivity.
In conclusion, the celebration of Krishna Jayanthi was a joyful and spiritually enriching experience for all of us. It not only allowed us to connect with our cultural heritage but also imparted valuable life lessons from the teachings of Lord Krishna.
