Assembly: Grade 4 C, September 2023

Topic: The Great Indian Teachers

We, at NPSI, conduct class assemblies to emphasize priority for the children through collaborative strategies.

The class assembly of Grade 4C was put up on the topic ‘The Great Indian Teachers. The children were excited to exhibit their inherent talent and skills.

The assembly started with the MCs welcoming the august gathering. A student kindled our thoughts with an inspiring thought followed by which there was a bunch of students sharing many facts on the great gurus and teacher of yester years.

Then came a few students updating us with the current affairs.

The program moved ahead with a skit where an excerpt from ‘Wings of Life’ was enacted throwing light on extraordinary relationship between the great teacher, Shri Siva Subramaniya Iyer, and APJ Abdul Kalam. The inspirational incident which brought interest in the mind of the young curious Abdul to aspire high to fly, which eventually made him the ‘Missile man of India’.

We celebrated the Hindi Diwas too chanting the poems and dohas of great Hindi pandits and saints. Students put up a mesmerizing dance enchanting the audience.

The children drew the curtains of this wonderful performance with a grateful vote of thanks to the principal, teachers, the support staff and the amazing audience for the opportunity and encouragement. The students learnt the value of team work, confidence, stage etiquette and much more through this assembly.
