Grade 6A Assembly
Grade 6A conducted a meaningful class assembly on the theme “Honesty and Integrity” on 15 December 2025, highlighting the importance of truthfulness and moral values in everyday life. The assembly aimed to help students understand that honesty is not just an idea but a principle that guides one’s actions and decisions.
The programme began with a Thought for the Day, which set the tone by emphasizing that honesty forms the foundation of trust in all relationships. This was followed by a News Reading segment, where students shared current events, linking the theme to real-life situations and responsible citizenship.
Students then spoke about non-violent heroes of contemporary society, drawing attention to individuals who demonstrate integrity through their choices and actions. This segment helped reinforce the idea that honesty and integrity require courage and consistency, even in challenging circumstances.
A gymnastics performance by a student symbolized balance, focus, and discipline, qualities that align closely with the theme of integrity. This was followed by a group song, where the entire class participated together, reflecting unity and shared values.
The assembly also included a dance performance that conveyed messages of harmony and non-violence through movement and expression. The students’ coordinated efforts highlighted the importance of working together while staying true to ethical values.
Towards the conclusion, the students took a pledge, committing themselves to practise honesty and uphold integrity in their daily lives—at school, at home, and in the community. The assembly ended with a Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the students, teachers, and staff who contributed to the programme.
Overall, the assembly served as a thoughtful learning experience, reminding everyone that honesty and integrity are essential values that shape responsible individuals and a respectful society.
