Grade 10A Assembly
“Wellbeing is not a destination — it’s a way of living.”
The students of Grade 11 presented an insightful and impactful assembly on the theme Wellbeing, titled Overloaded Teen vs Mindful Teen: A Tale of Balance. Through a compelling mix of storytelling, performance, and interaction, they reminded the audience of the importance of balance in today’s high-speed, screen-heavy world.
The assembly opened with a thought-provoking skit that followed the journey of siblings navigating the pressures of academics, digital distraction, procrastination, and emotional overload. Set within a fictional TV show Dharman, the story combined humour, drama, and transformation in a format that engaged all age groups.
Lively elements such as a symbolic two-minute dance on distractions, a live drumming act by Pranav, and a dream sequence featuring a teacher’s voice guiding the lead character toward clarity added energy and depth to the narrative. A powerful moment came when the principal’s metaphor of the space pen highlighted that true achievement requires presence and purpose.
An interactive quiz segment involving students from Grades 9 to 12 and parents further brought the theme to life, reinforcing simple strategies for managing stress and building resilience. The closing speech offered practical insights into mindfulness and its positive impact on wellbeing.
From ideation to execution, the Grade 11 students showed collaboration, creativity, and commitment. This was more than an assembly , it was a timely reminder that wellbeing begins when we pause, reflect, and choose balance every day.
