Assembly: Grade 7 B
Class assembly holds a significant role in our school routine. It is a platform provided for the students to showcase their talents and skills while giving them opportunities to work in collaboration.
The students of 7B presented their class assembly on the topic, Television. The students exhibited their dynamism by doubling up and playing multiple roles throughout the show.
The show started with two siblings fighting over the remote control of the television. They keep changing the channels, and what unfolds is a sequence of events happening in different channels. The thought of the day was presented with an explanation about the Quote: “A person who never made a mistake, never tried anything new.”
The news anchors shared updates of the happenings around us with International News, National News, State News and Sports News. An advertisement about the launching of a new iPhone [rip off on iPhone] with comments from two YouTube reviewers was presented in between the news. This was followed by an interactive session between two students sharing a few facts about television.
The last element of the assembly was a skit that was crafted like watching a movie about the rip off of heroes and villains of the Marvel and DC movies. Subsequently, the quiz kept the students engaged.
The assembly was wrapped up with the vote of thanks. Students conveyed their gratitude to the principal, teachers and non-teaching staff for their support and encouragement. 7B’s assembly was yet another presentation that showcased the talents of the children while giving them numerous moments to bond, laugh and grow together.
