Grade 5C Assembly
Responsibility and Patriotism
The students of Class 5C conducted a meaningful and well-coordinated morning assembly on the theme “Responsibility and Patriotism”. The program reflected the values of discipline, teamwork, and creativity, and gave every child an opportunity to participate and shine.
The assembly began with a warm welcome by Tejas, who greeted the Associate Principals, Middle Leaders, teachers, parents, and fellow students. Students explained the importance of responsibility and patriotism in our lives, while and shared the Thought for the Day – “Freedom is the result of responsibility.”

The audience was then treated to a soulful instrumental performance of “Vande Mataram” by Aditri (violin) and Jiya (keyboard), which filled the atmosphere with patriotic spirit.
This was followed by a short but impactful skit, “A Lesson in Responsibility”.
The play showed how a student named Harsha learns the value of being responsible at school, at home, and in everyday life.
The program continued with the melodious patriotic song “Ae Watan, Watan Mere Aabaad Rahe Tu” sung by the students of Grade 5C, reminding everyone of their duty towards the nation.
Students then shared fascinating facts about India, highlighting the country’s diversity, culture, and achievements. This was followed by a vibrant patriotic dance performance on “India Waale”, which brought great energy and enthusiasm to the stage.
The assembly also featured a heartfelt poem recitation, “My India, My Pride”, expressing love for the motherland and a pledge to be responsible citizens.
A Famous Quotes Parade, inspired the audience with powerful words from leaders like John F. Kennedy, Mahatma Gandhi, and Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, presented by Mohith, Siddhanth, and Shamira.
To engage the audience further, an interactive quiz was conducted by students covering topics from states of India to freedom fighters, ensuring enthusiastic participation from students and parents alike.
Finally, the program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks who expressed gratitude to the Associate Principals, teachers, parents, IT support, and staff for their encouragement and support.
The assembly ended with a warm message:
“Every great change begins with one small, responsible choice.”
