Assembly: Grade 3 B
Class assembly holds a significant role in our school routine. It is the first platform provided to young minds to showcase their talents and skills while giving them opportunities to work in collaboration.
The students of 3B presented their class assembly on the topic, Neighbourhood. The students exhibited their dynamism by doubling up and playing multiple roles throughout the show.
The MCs started the show by welcoming the audience and invited their friends to present an inspiring song on working together. The children presented a popular Hindi number, ‘Aao hum sab haath milaye, Dil se dil tak raah banayen’ which captured the sentiment of neighbourhood and togetherness aptly.
Words of Ronald Regan, former US president were shared for the thought while the news anchors shared updates of the happenings around us with International News, National News, State News and Sports News.
To explain the day’s theme to the audience, the MC spoke about how India has always been known as a peace-loving country and has always strived hard to champion the cause of peace in the world. Being blessed with several neighbouring countries, India has traditionally tried to maintain friendly and good-neighbourly relations.
Interesting facts about India’s neighbouring countries were shared in the next segment which saw the children speak with confidence. This was followed by a quiz which tested the audiences’ knowledge about the neighbouring countries. As always, the quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from the audience. An energetic dance performance choreographed to popular tunes brought in much zest and energy as the audience clapped along.
The assembly was wrapped up with the vote of thanks. Our Principal Ms Sudha Balan addressed the gathering and motivated the students with her encouraging words. Filled with learning for the presenting class as well as the audience, the assembly was a well-executed one with fun and learning in equal measure.
