Assembly: Grade 3 C
School assemblies are a great medium for students to exhibit their talents and develop confidence among other skills. Children work with camaraderie to put up a show for their peers and teachers and through this platform, we further our aim to provide holistic development.
The students of 3C presented their class assembly on Togetherness. Quotes from famous personalities set the theme for the assembly. This was followed by a group dance which was choreographed to depict the importance of being together, while having a unique identity. Children updated the audience on the International, National, State news apart from informing them on Sports and Weather report.
Children then donned the roles of personalities who worked together and made a mark in the global stage. They dressed up as Astronauts, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, music directors Shankar and Jaikishan, Black Mambos of South Africa and Sachin Tendulkar, Dhoni, Sehwag and Virat Kohli of the Indian Cricket team. As each pair walked in, the audience gave loud rounds of applause to welcome and recognize the success of these personalities.
The final element of the assembly was a group song on the importance of Togetherness, originally performed by Chris Loughrin Lakewood. It was indeed a sight to behold as all the children came together to render the song and spread the message of togetherness and brotherhood.
Students conveyed their gratitude to the principal, teachers and non-teaching staff for their support and encouragement. 3C’s assembly was yet another presentation that showcased the talents of the children while giving them numerous moments to bond, laugh and grow together.
