Assembly Grade 5B, 2024-2025

Class assemblies at NPSIC are always a highlight, reflecting the dedication, camaraderie and collaboration among students. The students of grade 5B presented their assembly on the theme, ‘The Power of Music and Dance.’ Presented in the state-of-the-art auditorium, this assembly proved to be an ideal platform for the students to present their skills and talents.

The show began with a welcome speech, setting a positive and enthusiastic tone for the rest of the event. Following the speech, the entire class came together to croon to the tune of ‘Unstoppable’, showcasing their talent and coordination, and setting the stage for what was to come.

After the song, the assembly moved on to the thought for the day, which provided the audience with inspirational and thought-provoking ideas. This segment was followed by interesting facts about music and dance, adding an educational element to the assembly and highlighting the theme's significance.

The entire assembly was dotted with musical and dance performances including a violin recital by a student, who played the beautiful song ‘Spring’ followed by two students who performed ‘Do a Deer’ on the guitar, captivating the audience with their musical skills. The students then presented a leg-tapping dance performance that had everyone in the auditorium clapping along to the rhythm. The assembly also featured a powerful rendition of the song ‘Maitreem Bajatha,’ an appeal for friendship and tolerance. The students' performance of this song was both moving and memorable, reinforcing the theme of harmony and connection through music and dance.

The grand finale of the assembly was the much-anticipated quiz. The quiz masters presented exciting questions that engaged the audience and elicited enthusiastic responses. This interactive segment added an element of fun and competition to the event, making it even more enjoyable for everyone involved.

The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks, where the principal, vice principals, teachers, and support staff were all acknowledged and appreciated for their help and support. This heartfelt gesture brought the event to a close, leaving everyone with a sense of accomplishment.
