Topic: World Television Day
Television a source of entertainment, knowledge and education, the TV has become an inseparable part of our lives.
The young learners of Grade 3 C presented their Assembly on ‘World Television Day’ with great enthusiasm. Pictures of television were put up on the stage. The assembly was aimed at highlighting the importance of Television in this busy and modern world.
After a brief introduction, the MC guided the audience through the programme.
The highlight of the assembly was students presenting a skit on future television and how they could peek into different channels according to their wish. The audience was thrilled to see their favourite cartoon character, Chota Bheem on stage.
The introduction speech on ‘Pros of Television’ was powerfully delivered by a student.
A brief and informative news report followed apprising the young audience on the happenings around the World, in Indian and in Chennai.
The song ‘Ek Chidiya anek Chidiya’ was sung melodiously by the students which showed unity in diversity in our country.
The interesting facts about Television were explanatory.
The entire class danced to the peppy number ‘A mash up on classic advertisements’ which was an amalgamation of all Indian advertisements showcased on our Television.
A quiz about the Television tested the audience on their knowledge. Students put on their thinking caps and were enthusiastic as always in their responses to the questions asked.
A vote of thanks was delivered to extend gratitude to one and all.
