Books and Beyond

Here, at NPSI, we bring the world into the classroom, with hands-on activities, collaborative work, interactive sessions, presentations, projects, research-based learning; the school looks beyond the classroom, beyond books and board.

• STEM Enhancement
  To develop 21st century skills and to sustain, retain, and ignite the curiosity of learning in our students, several programmes have been espoused. The STEM lab is a buzzing, experiential studio where students engage in hands-on learning across Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. It fosters creativity, critical thinking, and innovation through experiments, projects, and problem-solving activities. The cyber lab encourages coding and deeper understanding of the digital world. Field trips are a regular feature here – a form of extended and experiential form of learning.
• Communication Development
  A number of programmes are integrated into the regular school schedule to strengthen communication skills. Public Speaking (PS) sessions mould our students into confident orators. Initiatives such as Speak and Shine provide an opportunity for every child to speak in front of an audience, honing key skills.
• Language Enrichment
  Inhouse programmes such as Audio Lab, Class Reading and Home reading programmes along with novel writing instill a love for reading and writing in the primary years. As students progress into middle and senior years, a number of oratory opportunities and initiatives strengthen our students’ language skills.
