Young students from Grades 1 and 2 wore headgears made from natural leaves and flowers and shared delightful talks about their favourite plants, demonstrating their knowledge and affection for nature. It was indeed a delight to watch the little children walk into the quadrangle wearing their headgear and smiling ear-to-ear..
Grade 3 students showcased their talent by creating unique artworks using simple leaves, turning them into beautiful and artistic creations. Grade 4 students impressed everyone with imaginative write-ups and stories focused on trees and forests, showcasing their understanding and creative expression. Meanwhile, Grade 5 students expressed their thoughts and feelings about Van Mahotsav through impressive Cinquain poems, highlighting their literary skills and environmental consciousness..
The students of the Middle Years used spoken word and art to depict their love for the environment. Grade 6 students utilized their public speaking sessions to discuss the harmony within forest ecosystems and the benefits forests provide, enhancing their public speaking and ecological awareness. Bottle Art and posters capturing the essence of Van Mahotsav saw Grade 7 students deeply engaged. Grade 8 students worked collaboratively to present speeches on significant environmental efforts like the Chipko Movement, reflecting their teamwork and historical awareness.
Children from Grades 9 to 12 watched an enlightening video detailing the impact of Van Mahotsav and the potential for future environmental achievements through effective practices.
