Topic: Vision

Students of Grade 9B presented their class assembly on the topic Vision.

A Japanese proverb was shared as the MCs kicked off the programme on a positive note.

When one thinks of examples of visionaries, Walt Disney is among the first names to pop up. The students presented a skit the life of the great visionary. The success story of Walt Disney and his multi brand corporation The Disney Company stands witness to these qualities of greatness.

A speech on the meaning and significance of vision outlined its relevance. Not all visionaries become famous. Some of them merely touch lives and disappear into the annals of history. A student paid tribute to such lesser known Indian visionaries who have defined and shaped modern India.

An energetic dance performance by the girls on a peppy remix of popular Tamil and Hindi songs was greatly appreciated. A medley of quiz and riddles challenged the alert audience as they tried to guess the right answer.

The highlight of the show was the ‘Guess the Song’ event interspersed across the show. The audience was asked to guess the song played by the band of grade 9 B and name its singer. The musical guessing bonanza became an instant hit with the audience.

A vote of thanks proposed by a class member signalled the end of the programme.
