Assembly Grade 9C, 2024-2025

The young learners of Grade 9 C conducted their Assembly on ‘Internet Trends- A timeline’ on with great fervour. Colourful slides were put up as stage backdrop with sprightly music to welcome the audience. Children hosted the programme with poise. The assembly was aimed at instilling the stark difference between the internet trends at the past and present. Trending aspects in internet over the years with mindful usage was the highlight of the assembly.

Students put up a diverse presentation which included a skit, speech, quiz, talk show, dance, music and news that were well-presented. All the segments resonated with audience.

The skit was humorous with a comedy tiff between siblings. It was well-received by the audience and they cheered when they saw them appear on stage. A brief and informative news report followed apprising the young audience on the happenings around India, the World, in Sports, in school and in weather.

A speech on ‘Importance of Internet safety’ was delivered, giving valuable information on how to safeguard passwords and not get carried away by false claims. The medley sung melodiously by the students along with accompaniments like guitars, drums and keyboard added to the joy. The audience enjoyed singing along and tapping to the music.

An interesting quiz in the form of Kahoot quiz tested the audience, who also found it informative. The talk show ‘Ilani (tender coconut) with AK’ was fascinating with the host interviewing the celebrity guests with confidence and composure. It gave insights into internet spams and safety.

The presentation came to an end with the Vote of thanks, sharing words of gratitude to all who supported the class through the process of ideation, planning and execution of the assembly.
