Grade 9C Assembly
Grade 9C conducted their class assembly with great enthusiasm on the theme “Patriotism and Responsibilities” with a special focus on the topic “Fulfilling Responsibilities vs Indifference.” The programme aimed to highlight that true patriotism lies not only in love for the nation but also in fulfilling one’s responsibilities in daily life.
The highlight of the programme was a skit presented by the students, revolving around a loose live wire on a busy street and how different characters responded and some with indifference, others with responsibility. Through witty dialogues and powerful performances, the skit conveyed the strong social message that ignoring responsibilities can have serious consequences, while responsible actions contribute to the greater good.
To add variety and energy, the skit was interspersed with news updates, a lively song, and a dance performance. The students displayed remarkable stage presence and confidence throughout.
The Thought for the Day offered a reflective pause, reminding everyone of the importance of individual actions in nation-building.
The assembly was thought-provoking and impactful. It inspired the audience to reflect on their own roles in society and reinforced the message that patriotism is best expressed through consistent responsibility and care in daily actions.
