Grade 7B Assembly
Grade 7 B conducted their class assembly on Monday, 9th December 2025, on the theme Patriotism and Responsibility. The assembly focused on the idea that love for one’s country must be reflected through responsible actions and awareness of civic duties. The class teacher introduced the theme by reminding students that freedom is sustained through discipline, responsibility, and active participation in society.
The programme included a skit titled India Then and Now, which highlighted the connection between the sacrifices of the past and the responsibilities of the present. Through short scenes, students referred to current news events and discussed how informed citizenship and timely action play an important role in today’s society. A video montage of freedom fighters helped students understand the efforts that led to India’s independence and the values associated with it.
An interactive quiz was conducted for students from different grades, along with parents, encouraging participation and reinforcing knowledge related to Indian history, rights, and responsibilities. The quiz added variety to the programme and helped maintain audience involvement.
The assembly also featured patriotic songs and dance performances that reflected themes of unity and national pride. These items were well coordinated and aligned with the overall message of the assembly.
The programme concluded with a concluding address that emphasised the balance between rights and duties. Students were reminded that responsible behaviour, respect for rules, and concern for the community are essential aspects of patriotism. The assembly helped students reflect on their role as responsible citizens and reinforced the importance of contributing positively to the nation in everyday life.
