Grade 7C Assembly
The Grade 7C class assembly was held on Tuesday, 2nd September 2025, on the theme Gratitude vs Complaining. The programme began with a welcome by the Masters of Ceremonies. They introduced the idea of moving away from constant complaints and learning to appreciate what we already have. Their words set the stage for the rest of the assembly.
The highlight of the morning was a skit. It showed two groups of friends with very different attitudes. One group spent their time finding faults and complaining about small problems, while the other chose to notice the good in their daily lives and be thankful. Through their conversations and actions, it became clear that complaining only leads to unhappiness, while gratitude makes life more meaningful and positive. The simple storyline made the message easy for everyone to understand.
After the skit, students conducted a short quiz to involve the audience. The questions encouraged everyone to think about how gratitude can be practiced in daily life. This was followed by a song on gratitude that gave the assembly a warm and reflective tone.
The “Thought of the Day” was then shared, reminding everyone of the importance of being thankful in both big and small matters. A Vote of Thanks was presented to close the programme. Finally, all the students of Grade 7C came together for a final bow, showing their teamwork and effort.
The assembly was a thoughtful reminder that gratitude can change the way we see life and helps us replace complaints with appreciation.
